Queen Mary womens changing room Class A EVP from a first class poolTHE FIRST CLASS swimming pool and womens changing room have long created a buzz within the paranormal community. Some say there is an energy vortex or spirit doorway located in its dead center. Some say its populated by spirits that are unwelcoming to curious visitors. Whatever may or may not occupy the slight-sized booths, there is no doubt the creepy atmosphere makes for the perfect investigating environment.

Queen Mary womens changing room EVP EVP | Class A

During a recent late night weekend ghost tour, ParaXplorer and Queen Mary Paranormal Ambassador, Erika Frost, accompanied a group of intrepid guests into the fabled changing room area. Two couples, Justin and Luana P., and Micheal and Kim H. were among those who participated in an Electronic Voice Phenomenon [EVP] recording session. Justin explains the experience in his own words and shares their impressive captured evidence.

"We were located in the changing room area, about half way down the hallway. I sat on one side while Michael sat directly across from me and our wives were across from me and to the right. The room was very dark, dark enough to barely see my hand in front of my face. What is interesting about our EVP is that not a single person in our group heard any response to the question being asked. Another interesting thought is that the response is not a normal response that a fellow guest within the room would reply with, 'I’ll be right up.' It just does not answer the question correctly if you are already in the same area. As this EVP was captured, there was also a lot of activity down the hall from us with two girls mentioning they could feel someone touching them."

ParaXplorer note: As Erika lead the EVP session, she can be heard calling out to legendary Queen Mary young spirit girl, Jackie. The response is from someone who appears to be an older female. Very curious indeed.

ADOBE AUDITION is one of several digital audio applications available that can assist in analyzing potential EVP captures. No program can prove EVP, but can help eliminate potential natural sources such as investigator voices and environmental noises. Along with examining frequencies, Audition's spectral view option can be especially handy.

The screen shot below is a spectral view of the womens changing room vocal anomaly. Note the horizontal stripes in Erika's voice that displays vocal vibrations caused by her larynx. They usually can be seen in sounds originating from flesh and blood voice boxes. The potential EVP in question doesn't show striping and displays characteristics of a inanimate object or environmental noise. Yet, we're sure we hear a clear, intelligent vocal response.

Very odd. Very paranormal.
